About the Venue
Established as a destination for music and events, North of England Centre for Music & Arts (Standedge Visitor Centre) is the perfect place to bring together people who love ceramics in all its forms.
Set on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal (fondly known as The Cut), the centre is a stunning building set over three floors.
Steeped in history with a combination of heritage and contemporary style, the venue is located right next to Standedge Tunnel, a feat of engineering as the longest, deepest and highest canal tunnel in Britain.

Getting to Marsden
- By car: Free parking is available on Sundays at Standedge car park next to Marsden railway station.
- By train: Marsden train station is a 10-minute walk from the venue
- By bus: There are regular local buses to and from Marsden - Check the journey planner for details
Getting to the festival
The festival is a 10-minute walk along the canal from Marsden Railway Station and Goods Yard Carpark.
- By boat: A festival shuttle boat will run along the canal from the train station to the venue.
- By towpath: Pedestrian and cycle access via the canal towpath
Please note: There is no parking available at the venue itself, except for disabled parking.

our reduced-price tickets are available to anyone who would otherwise find it prohibitive to attend. No questions asked. If you can afford a full price ticket, please support us. Otherwise please pay what you can. It is important to us that our events are available to everybody and that cost should not be a barrier. Please note that even £1 entry fee allows us to evidence attendance and a need for events like this.
The fee is a box office split between the venue and the organiser of the festival and goes towards the cost of putting on the event and paying the artists and supporting the venue to continue putting exciting music and art events
